That's one thing I don't miss about the bronx, it the traffic, the cross bronx expressway has to be the worse. I don't miss the hot summers and the humidity either. I live in a small town called sequim here in wash. pop. 5000, speed limit 25 and 55 on highway 101 which is the only highway here. I live on a penninsula and have to take a ferry to get off of it. It is a beautiful place and the weather is nice. The coldest it get in the winter is about 35 and the hottest in the summer is 80 no humidty. I miss new york people. There are no other kind of people than new yorkers and the restaurant, best restaurants in nyc.

Hi Lorraine;
Great to hear from you. I graduated from John Adams H.S..(I am sure way before you)...I grew up in South Ozone Park...it was a great neighborhood, OZ, Richmond Hill, etc. It has changed greatly...I havent seen it in years, but
hopefully will in October when I go to class reunion...Good Lord willing.....I am now living in
Pa...but will always be a New Yorker.
We have a web called the Adams Clipper started by Ron Gill and I connected with quite a few people from Adams...Nick DeGregorio of the Capris
is very sick.
Well it is late and I will say goodnight for now....
Do you remember "Oh blue and white, for thee
we'll fight"...LOL...school song.
Rita
