Hi Matt,

I hope that all is good in your corner of the World.
I thought that I wanted too share the new narrative that I wrote for Butch Barbella. I hope that you enjoy it. Take care and stay safe on or off line.

The Streets of The Bronx

The Headlines Should Read:
"Barbella Has Done It Again!"
"You Can't Keep A Good Man Down!"

I sat patiently at Totonno’s Restaurant in Yonkers, New York waiting for "The Streets of The Bronx" to take center stage. Butch's vocal and writing talent's go right to the top along with his professionalism as a music director. I've been fortunate to know
"The Man and his Music" Mr. Butch Barbella.

Jerry Brown: It was my first time hearing him and all I can say is Wow! Only kidding being a writer I can say a lot more. You don't know what you're missing until you hear this gentleman sing. His voice is well seasoned and soulful. Jerry will capture your attention the instant that he sings that first note.

Bobby Rustici: This man knows how to "Accentuate the Positive!" The competition is great but, only few rise above it all. Bobby is one of the few, so check him out. Drum roll please!

It's been my pleasure to hear and see all of the gentlemen above.

Bravo Butch!

Sorano here you know what to do!
Hint: Don't be left out when someone says:
Have you heard "The Streets of The Bronx?"
Are you still reading? Make your resevations
now!

Hey Matt, this is a work that's been begging for a long time.... I'm hoping you show how Bronx kids played in the firepumps (Johnnypumps). This was a daily occurrence in my neighborhood (in Summer)... and further to that point, how kids were able to get both ends of a soup can off WITHOUT USING A CAN OPENER! One needed a can with both ends off, in order to "shoot" the water way up in the air, but never could a can opener be found. Well there was a trick to getting the ends off. Read my posts to see how we did it.
