I was born in the Bronx - down the street from Westchester Square Hospital (born in the hospital). Went to St. Raymonds - hung out on Castle Hill Avenue. At 13 I moved to Throggs Neck (in the Bronx). I have raised two beautiful daughters in Throggs Neck - they loved living in the Bronx.

Things do change though - that's life. On 2/23/06 my 17 year old daughter was murdered in the Bronx - not too far from where we lived. I freaked out and moved out to the West Coast (I have family there) for almo… Continue

go figure ! I swear....outta the blue , LOUIS PERNA called me about 10 :30 last night !! stayed on the phone for an hour...he really felt like talking...i know his son ( 23 ) is having a tough time with diabetes....kid is living in Colorado,,....daughter ( 21 ) lived in chicago for a while , now back in the Poconos with Louis....
actually LOUIS sold his parents house recently , it took about 4 years of litigation, lots of family probs...He almost moved back in himself, he is missing the Bronx....
anyway..........i'm about 3 blocks north of Glen Island , lived here since i was married in ' 77...4 kids.... 27 , 25 , 16 , 12 !!
( italian- irish Catholics , go figure ).....married at OLA , Reception at the Davenport , new rochelle......do you recall CHUMLEYS on main street ?? we went there for a crazy after wedding party , waaaay back !

I 'm still in touch with LOUIS...he lives in PA . , and is a mailman in NY....has 2 kids , boy and girl.....his dad died about a year ago and thats the last time i actually saw him , at the wake in the BRONX.......he dated my sister MARIA Santoiemma , on and off for years .
hey , LOLLIPOP .....have a nice RUM and COKE , maybe a stop by THRU WAY DINER ( recently closed )....
you would not believe NEW ROCHELLE now ! high rises all over, TRUMP even built here....new ro mall completely redone as " NEW ROC CENTER ".....things looking up.
i was at GLEN ISLAND today...you must know that place also....not far from GREASY NICKS , also known as LENOS CLAM BAR on shore road.
had dinner on ARTHUR AVE. last night , spectacular as always !!!

last time i heard from MIKE he was an EMS guy , waaaay back....PATTI , his wife , worked with my wife at KNICKERBOCKER back in the old daze , when they were both HS students ! we have been out of touch for many years.....we are in NEW ROCHELLE , where the LOLLIPOP club used to be , sure you've been to all the old clubs !
i know a LOIUS PERNA very well....he dated my sis and lived on PARSIFAL place.....my sis also went to st. HELENA's BIZ SKOOL, CLASS OF 1974 ????
