AND EAST OR WEST IS 'CROSS-TOWN'.
YOU RIDE IN A SUBWAY CAR WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING
JUST BECAUSE THERE ARE SEATS AVAILABLE.
YOU TAKE THE TRAIN HOME AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE ON
THE PLATFORM THE DOORS WILL OPEN THAT WILL LEAVE YOU RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE EXIT STAIRWAY.

THE LADY ON THE BEACH

John and his best friend Anthony were sitting on John's deck looking out at the ocean and the beach. It was a wonderful spring day; not too hot or cold; with a nice soft breeze coming off the ocean; it was a perfect day. You must have if you lived on 7th street, my uncle had Italian Restaurant on Ave. D, between third and fourth streets it was called “The Casabella” I worked there from when I was old enough to cut peppers until I became the chef. I knew some girls from the projects, one’s name Dee and she had a brother, and I think his name was Tony. Where do you live now?
