Nothing like it - there were games we played in the dark and there games we played during the day. You were out on the streets playing the games from early AM until dusk when your mother or grandmother yelled out the window to come up for dinner. The only time you stopped playing for a few mintues is when your mom threw out coins wrapped in a napkin so you can buy ice cream man from the ice cream man (our ice cream man's name was Roy - it's amazing I can remember his name - it was over 40 years ago). But that's the way it is for me - I can remember everything from my youth - it's amazing.
My opinion - video games ruined everything - once they came along with the computer - kids were like, what are street games? It was simple then and rarely a fight - what happened?
