I'm going to go back for a moment to the forties as a teenager in Jamaica, Queens where we played a very hot & fast game of "Split-Ball". Using the same Spaulding pink-ball, we would cut it in half on the seam. I can't belive i found this site. I live in Manhattan, grew up in Brooklyn. Luv when the immigrants make fun of my accent and tell me they are 'true New Yorkers" and have never heard of skelly or ringolivio, can't double dutch and don't know what a johnny pump is.
